This is kind of a self portrait, as my last name is translated as "swamp's end" :)

Still trying to learn how to handle acrylic color. This is my third painting using acrylics. Painted on 55x40cm canvas using limited palette of red, yellow, blue, white and black.

It's funny how something so lifeless can still be so beautiful. You are very talented :]

We are friends and I do like to pass the day with you in serious and inconsequential chatter. I wouldn't mind washing up beside you or reading the back half of the paper while you read the front. I would miss you, do miss you and think of you very often.
lovely, I think you captured the whole misty, eerie feeling of a swamp.Terrific
Beautiful handling of the subject, real attention to detail. I like lots!!!

Thanks.
That's really amazing. Such a beautiful scene, even though it gives off a feeling of death due to the trees empty branches and the dull colours. The effect is spectacular

Oh yes, it's good to travel through thubshare forum from time to time :) I'm so glad I foud your thumbs! Fantastic use of acrylics. I've made only four acrylic paintings in my life and they are not half as good as yours. Keep up the good work!

Flames to dust, lovers to friends... why do all good things come to an end?

I love the landscape and overall photorealism of this piece. Great job.

A bizarre emphasis on coffee and soul-crushing tragedy.
The mood is sort of offbeat and a bit sinister looking....I like it

"Sprite, good, mind if I have some of your tasty beverage to wash this down with?" - Jules
Wow this painting is amazing!

I died a thousand deaths when my humanity was slaughtered by the dark side. Now I cause a thousand deaths to fill the void. :jedi:
hmm i would have never guessed this was acrylic it is blended so well i could have sworn it would have to be oil, and the fact that you used a limited color scheme makes it even more impressive.
