This one is a result of my latest experiments for achieving painterly style with digital tools. It’s mostly painted in Art Rage, with some adjustments and final touches in Photoshop and Painter. Composition and lighting were planned using 3D models in Blender, and a 3D render was the main reference. Other references are listed below (both by ~Eirian-stock):
Personally I’m quite happy with the visual effect. By using digital oil paints I can follow much of the same rules that apply for real paints. This time I tried to pay attention to edge variety, and made sure there is a range of edges from hard, soft, and all the way to lost edges.
For some weird or funny reasons , this feels so much so like a traditional art piece and guess what , its actually done digitally . You have mad skills man , you truly do and boy am I super jealous of you right now
It's very interesting, I love how much the little details add to the picture. You did a good job, and the more details, the better. People don't realize it, but if you compared a picture with no details to this, you'd miss what you put into this, and it wouldn't be as good.
Wow, you really succeeded with the painty feel, I was sure this was traditional when I clicked the thumbnail o: I remembered when I tried out art rage and quickly fell in love with the oil paint as well, just for that effect.
It looks really great so I don't have much other feedback than maybe the palette. I feel you could have been a bit bolder with the colours, for an example the sky looks a tad flat going in a sort of static blue hue. That's the only thing I could think of though, apart from that it looks perfect to me
Hope that was helpful, I'm just going to watch you now as I was sure I already did Keep up the amazing work!
