Hazy Afternoon by arisuonpaa Hazy Afternoon by arisuonpaa
I've always wanted to try my hands on a classic countryside painting. This painting shows what a Finnish farm might have looked like in 18th century.

Painted digitally in Corel Painter, ArtRage, and Photoshop.

The detail in this is amazing. The orange hues give it a nostalgic feel.

I would love to know how do you transition from one software to another, just love the way it has this traditional look :)

Corel Painter for the initial sketch and colors, ArtRage for painting over the low resolution sketch, and Photoshop for color adjustments and unsharp mask filter at the end of the painting process.

I see, now I understand *nods*
Myself and Corel Painter were never really good friends. I either go traditional -> scan -> photoshop, or SAI->photoshop or only photoshop (favorite option, no hassle of moving the files around:) ).
